1. Concept:
Is used to turn on and off the circuit components. switches used in a variety of electronic devices, household appliances.

BY PURPOSE: band switch, playback switch, power switch, pre-selection switches, limit switches, control switches, switch, isolation switch.
By the structure: slide switches, toggle switches, toggle switches, pushbutton switches, membrane switch and so on.

4. The main parameters:
a. Rated Voltage: is the switch in the normal working hours allowed by the safe voltage. plus the voltage across the switch is larger than this value, ignition will cause breakdown between the two contacts.
b. Rated current: that when the switch is allowed to pass through the maximum safety. When more than this value, the switch contacts and burned because of too much current.
c. Insulation resistance: refers to the switch conductor part and the insulation resistance value. insulation resistance should be more than 100MΩ.
d. Contact resistance: refers to the switch in the on-state contact resistance between each pair of values. general requirements in the 0.1-0.5Ω below this value the smaller the better.
e. Pressure: Refers to switch between the conductor and the ground can bear the minimum voltage.
f. life: is the switch in normal operating conditions, to the number of operations. generally require 5000-35000 times or so. |
